Took customer artwork and ran preflight checks to ensure quality 
finished product.  Ran color calibrated proofs and folded proofs as 
needed.  Did structural design on packaging for a variety of products.  
Output packaging proofs on experiemental proofing system using white 
& metallic inks and an expanded color gamut.  Help redesign worklow 
procedures for packaging workflow.  Managed die library containing 
specification sheets and die files that could be shared with clients.  
Helped manage in-house intranet running on wordpress.  Assisted 
customers with problem files.

Took customer artwork and prepped it for output on multiple devices.  
Devices included Rastek H652 large format UV flat-bed printer, 
Heidelberg 640 offset press, Xerox 770 digital press, HP Indigo 3000 
digital press, Xante Illumina 502 envelope press, Multicam 5’x10’ 
CNC router, Mutoh 60” roll-to-roll eco-solvent printer, Mutoh 52” 
vinyl plotter and Royal Sovereign 52” laminator.  Handled design of 
company materials including company website, sales collateral 
& product photography.

Managed front end operations including employees, estimates, 
invoices, daily closing, ordering print and office supplies, 
production scheduling, and art direction.  Created designs as 
needed and continued design of all artwork associated with the 
Texarkana Symphony Orchestra. 

Graphic Designer  ›  October 2004 - June 2010
Designed all print materials for clients ranging from business 
cards, brochures, newsletters, programs, posters, stationery, logos, 
forms, etc. Managed fonts, artwork and routine backups of all artwork.  
Performed maintenance on laser copiers.  Maintained in-house computers.  
Supplied artwork for digital plate machine and worked closely with 
press operator.  Worked with many different machines, including large 
format color inkjet printers, laser copiers, digital plate-making 
equipment, guillotine cutter, drill press and laminating equipment.
